Association for Bridge Construction and Design - Western New York Chapter

As some may have noticed, the Western New York ABCD website has undergone some major changes in the past year and a number of new features have been added. The biggest change is the ability for members to access and edit their personal information and the ability to register and pay for ABCD events online starting with the Fall Conference.

The Association for Bridge Construction and Design would like to welcome everyone to attend our 21st annual fall conference: Building our Bridges to the Future - The Battle Against Time. This year's program is loaded with exciting presentations ranging from billion dollar, multi-state reconstruction contracts to first of its kind construction techniques. Participants seeking PDH credits can collect up to 6.5 credits in this full day conference.

IT’S NOT EASY BEING GREEN, this year’s conference theme seeks to highlight how it’s good practice to incorporate concepts and technologies that are friendly to Mother Earth when engineering transportation projects, but being green is not always as easy as it sounds.

Mark Your Calendars!!! ABCD of WNY is holding it's 11th annual Scholarship Golf Tournamentat Terry Hills Country Club in Batavia New York on June 25th, 2009.

The tournament proceeds will benefit the ABCD scholarship program. The Western New York Chapter plans award of scholarships to students in a bridge related curriculum for the 2009-2010 College school year.
