DESCRIPTION: The candidate will instruct courses in the civil engineering technology program. Main responsibilities include undergraduate lectures and laboratories in at least three of the following areas: Structures, Engineering Mechanics, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Surveying, Construction Management, Microsoft Office Applications, Water Supply and Wastewater Treatment.

• Three years relevant industrial experience
• Current technical background
• MS in civil engineering or a related engineering technology or engineering discipline

• Ph.D. or earned doctorate in related field or PE license
• Previous teaching experience

THE DEPARTMENT: The CETEMS department employs 10 full-time faculty members and has over 300 full-time students. The department offers two MS degrees in environmental health & safety, and facilities management, and three BS degrees in engineering technology, environmental management, and safety technology. The undergraduate programs, which are five years in duration, have a strong career focus and include 15 months of required cooperative education experience in civil engineering and construction management.
